Determined to find better ways to improve the customer experience
Tanya immigrated to the UK in 1997 and after a year travelled back to South Africa to attend a Personal Assistant course at College.
Tanya worked for Vinci Construction as a site Administrator. She was promoted to Site Administrator Manager for Major Projects Division, looking after a team of seven secretaries working on various construction sites in and around London.
Tanya’s experience in Large Construction Corporations, including her role in training staff members in Company Management Systems, and especially her understanding of what customers want, has laid a firm foundation for SFS FIRE, preparing her well for her new role as director. Tanya has been instrumental in helping to set up the new paperless Management system.

Andrew started working in the fire service industry in Australia in 1996, joining his Fathers business. Here Andrew was taught how to accurately record all information related to each asset and how to deliver a service level expected of him by demanding customers.
He traveled to the UK in 2002 and after working as an engineer at a similar company. Andrew joined SFS FIRE in 2010.
Andrew also handles all external fire safety training, is approved to inspect fire doors and carries out Evacuation Drills on behalf of our customers.

Gareth studied electronics at College in his Native South Africa where he qualified as a fire and security service engineer. During his apprenticeship period he developed an understanding and passion for reliable customer service. In 2002 he made the decision to immigrate to the UK where he joined SFS FIRE as a lead fire engineer.
In 2009 Gareth and his Family purchased SFS FIRE. As new owners it was an obvious choice for Gareth to be appointed Technical Service Director.
Gareth and Contracts Director Tanya, introduced a new management system, all cloud-based, controlling every aspect of administration in the business, allowing the engineers to carry out their field service using apps and helped eliminate the use of paperwork.
